How to Read Our Quarterly Signals Report
A guide to effectively leveraging our market metrics report
May 18, 2026 • 1 min read • 2 min view
Seeking data-driven insights into digital assets? Our quarterly Signals Report is designed to provide institutional investors with deeper visibility into market shifts—and greater confidence in their investment decisions.
Each Signals Report examines the previous quarter to deliver a forward-looking perspective on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. It identifies the most relevant on-chain data and traditional market indicators, which the Fidelity Digital Assets® Research team translates into a clear, structured analysis.
The reports define key metrics, explaining their methodology and whether they suggest a negative, neutral, or positive outlook. These metrics are grouped into two key categories:
- Market health metrics, which help identify market regimes, relative momentum, and quantify their relationship to forward returns.
- Investment thesis metrics, which assess how effectively each asset is progressing against its core value proposition over time.
Together, these signals provide a structured framework for understanding both near-term conditions and longer-term trends across digital assets.
Learn how to navigate and apply these insights with Senior Research Analyst Max Wadington’s video on “How to Read Our Quarterly Signals Report.”
