Introduction
Our team is looking to hire more than twenty passionate and innovative engineers to expand our enterprise‐grade platform to secure, trade, and support investments in digital assets.
About Fidelity Digital Assets:
Fidelity began researching blockchain technology and digital assets in 2014. Following our preliminary exploration, we invested in a mining operation and developed wallet and custody solutions for bitcoin. In 2018, Fidelity Digital AssetsSM launched, marking our first step towards a long‐term vision to create a full‐service platform for storing, trading, and supporting digital assets.
We paired some of the best engineers in blockchain with experienced business, technology, and cybersecurity professionals from Fidelity to build an enterprise-grade custody and execution solution for institutional investors. Our diverse team now consists of more than 100 forward-thinking professionals, and our products are trusted by institutional investors in nearly every segment.
The Next Step:
Since we've launched, the digital assets market has grown exponentially. More institutions are adopting digital assets as part of their portfolios, and their needs are becoming increasingly diverse and sophisticated. As the landscape changes, we're continuing to execute our vision, improving upon our existing bitcoin custody and execution services while also building new products to support the growing ecosystem of digital assets. Ultimately, we imagine a future where all types of assets are issued natively on blockchains or represented in a tokenized format.
Over the next several months, we plan to hire more than twenty engineers across the full spectrum of our technology stack to capitalize on increased market demand and to expand our overall capabilities. We're looking to bring on passionate and innovative developers who enjoy collaborating in a rapidly changing environment. Our ideal candidates bring real-world experience building modern, secure, highly available services in the cloud. More specifically, we have available opportunities for Site Reliability Engineers with expertise in AWS, Software Engineers with experience in modern Java based microservices or the latest Angular based UIs, and Data Engineers that have designed cloud-based data services.
As a Fidelity Digital AssetsSM engineer, you will be building the future of finance. We utilize the latest advancements in blockchain technology and cryptography to create secure, interoperable and scalable products that make it safe and simple for our clients to invest in bitcoin. We are committed to growing our technology organization and our platform's capabilities to drive new business and help increase the overall adoption of digital assets. If you have development experience with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital assets, we'd love to hear from you.
